Founder-led LinkedIn is the fastest route from nothing to pipeline in B2B. Five agencies compared on founder capability, published results and what they need from your time.

Key takeaways
- Posts from a named founder consistently out-reach the same post from a company page, because engagement flows through human networks rather than follower lists.
- If your last ten posts could have been written by your marketing coordinator, you are using the weakest version of the founder advantage.
- You do not need a large following. With a few hundred target companies, a few hundred of the right followers beats fifty thousand of the wrong ones.
- The constraint is time and it is solvable with process, not discipline. Thirty to sixty minutes a month, talking rather than writing. An agency needing more has not solved your problem.
- Content alone produces an audience. Pipeline needs a next step in the content and outreach to the people engaging with it.

For a founder-led B2B business, LinkedIn is the fastest route from no audience to real pipeline that exists. noticed. leads this list on published founder results, including 50 million impressions for O Beach Ibiza and 3.6 million views for Alphagenix.
Why founders have an advantage they rarely use
Posts from a named person with a face consistently out-reach the identical post from a company page, because engagement on LinkedIn flows through human networks rather than follower lists.
A founder has three things a brand account structurally cannot have: a story, an opinion, and the authority to state it without internal approval. Most never use any of them, and publish company updates instead.
If your last ten posts could have been written by your marketing coordinator, you are using the weakest version of the advantage. The posts that work are the ones only the founder could have written: the decision you got wrong, the thing your industry believes that you think is nonsense, the number from inside your business.
You do not need a large following
This is the most common reason founders do not start, and it is backwards.
If your addressable market is a few hundred companies, a few hundred of the right followers is worth more than fifty thousand of the wrong ones. Early posts reach few people, but the few are disproportionately likely to be the ones who matter, because they are your existing network.
Alphagenix is a useful example: technical subject, narrow audience, and 21,000 followers grown on the founder's account producing over 100 inbound enquiries. The enquiries matter; the follower count is just what came with them.
The constraint is time, and it is solvable
Every founder knows they should be posting. Almost none does consistently, because client work and running the business always win.
The fix is not discipline, it is process. Thirty to sixty minutes a month, in one sitting, talking rather than writing. An agency worth hiring interviews you, extracts what only you know, and handles everything after that. If they need more than an hour of your month, they have not solved the problem you hired them for.
Our own method for using that hour well is in the AI content piece: start from a transcript, never a blank page.
From audience to pipeline
Content alone produces an audience. Pipeline needs a path from reading to talking, which is where most founder-led efforts stall.
That means a next step in the content, and outreach to the people engaging with it. Someone who has read fifty of your posts and then receives a message from you is a completely different prospect from a cold contact. The method is in the DM playbook.
How we ranked these agencies
- Founder-led capability
- Whether the agency can write as a named person convincingly, or only runs company pages.
- Time required from you
- The binding constraint for every founder. An agency needing hours a week has not solved it.
- Named, checkable results
- Client names alongside the numbers.
- Commercial outcomes
- Whether published results reach enquiries and revenue or stop at followers.
- Works from nothing
- Whether the agency has grown an account from zero, which is a different job from scaling an existing one.
- What they refuse to do
- Whether the agency states a boundary at all.
Who this list is for
Founders and leadership teams at startups and growing B2B businesses, where the person is the brand and the business needs inbound. If you want a company page run and nothing else, the content shortlist is a better page.

The best LinkedIn agencies: in-depth review
1. noticed., best for founder-led B2B with a real story
Founder-led LinkedIn is the fastest route from nothing to pipeline that exists in B2B, and it is the thing we have the most published evidence for.
O Beach Ibiza: a founder programme around Tony Truman produced more than 50 million brand impressions and 26,000 followers in six months. Alphagenix: 3.6 million content views and 21,000 followers on the founder's profile, producing over 100 inbound enquiries.
We also run this for ourselves. Niall Ratcliffe was named a LinkedIn Top Voice in 2025, and the agency was built on the channel it sells.
Named results
- O Beach Ibiza: 50M+ brand impressions and 26,000 followers in six months
- Alphagenix: 3.6M views, 21,000 founder followers and 100+ inbound enquiries
- Dr. Will's: 30,000+ followers alongside Waitrose, Ocado and Co-op listings
Best suited for
Founders and small leadership teams where the person is the brand, there is a genuine story, and the business needs inbound rather than another outbound channel.
Where it falls short
We refuse to work outside LinkedIn. No Meta, no Google Ads, no SEO. We also need thirty to sixty minutes of the founder's time each month, and if that is genuinely unavailable this will not work for you. No published rate card.

2. Linkedist, best for LinkedIn audits and workshops
Linkedist works on LinkedIn only, across eight service lines spanning content, ads, personal branding, audits and workshops. They state seven years in the category and claim a tenfold engagement improvement, though the method behind that figure is not shown.
Case studies report followers, posts and impressions: WhiteBridge.ai at 1,850 followers and 34,963 impressions, Detra Solar at 203,524.
Named results
- Detra Solar: 2,426+ followers and 203,524 impressions across 75 posts in 18 months
- CloudVisor: 2,000+ followers, 225 posts and 10 ad campaigns over two years
- WhiteBridge.ai: 1,850+ followers and 34,963 impressions
Best suited for
Companies that want a LinkedIn audit or an internal workshop before committing to a retainer. The breadth of service lines suits a business still deciding what it needs.
Where it falls short
Published results are follower counts, post volumes and impressions rather than pipeline, revenue or meetings. No pricing is published, and the site does not state where the agency is based.

3. Gripped, best for B2B SaaS demand generation
Gripped works only with SaaS, AI and tech companies past roughly £2m ARR, out of Borough High Street in London. LinkedIn is one line in a demand generation programme that also covers paid search, SEO and website.
They state £5,000 to £15,000 a month openly and note most clients land at £8,000 to £12,000. Published outcomes include a 252% rise in opportunity value from Google Search Ads and £1.3m of quarterly pipeline.
Named results
- £1.3m in new pipeline created in one quarter from paid search and social
- 252% increase in opportunity value from Google Search Ads
- 108% year-on-year increase in sales opportunities
Best suited for
B2B SaaS companies past £2m ARR who want one agency covering search, social and website rather than a LinkedIn specialist.
Where it falls short
LinkedIn is one channel among six. If LinkedIn is where your buyers are and you want it run properly, you are buying a share of attention rather than a specialism. Scope is restricted to SaaS, AI and tech.

4. Cleverly, best for high-volume outbound at scale
Cleverly runs high-volume outbound from Los Angeles: LinkedIn sequences, cold email, 200 to 300 calls a day per rep, and SDRs you do not have to hire. For companies whose problem is simply not enough conversations, that breadth is the point.
The published proof is aggregate rather than client-specific, covering 224,700 leads and $51.2M of revenue across a stated 1,000 clients.
Named results
- 224,700 leads generated across the client base
- $312M pipeline and $51.2M revenue, cumulative
- 1,000 active clients and 1,000+ five-star reviews claimed
Best suited for
Companies that want outbound volume across several channels at once and are comfortable with an agency operating at scale rather than bespoke.
Where it falls short
Outbound only. Cleverly does not offer LinkedIn content or organic presence, so the profile a prospect lands on after receiving a message is your problem rather than theirs. No pricing is published.

5. Stop The Scroll, best for US B2B paid and organic together
Stop The Scroll is a US agency combining paid and organic LinkedIn. They publish pricing openly, from $2,950 a month with a $3,950 monthly contract minimum, which puts them among the more transparent operators in the category.
They also publish a ranked list of LinkedIn agencies using seven weighted criteria. It is a thorough methodology, though the agency awards itself a 9.3 out of 10 within its own ranking.
Named results
- Published pricing from $2,950/month, $3,950/month contract minimum
- Seven weighted ranking criteria published openly
Best suited for
US-based B2B companies wanting paid and organic LinkedIn handled together, with a clear published price before the first call.
Where it falls short
US-based, which matters for timezone overlap and market knowledge if your buyers are in the UK or Europe. Published client results are thin relative to the published methodology.

Frequently asked questions
- How much time does founder-led LinkedIn take?
- Thirty to sixty minutes a month if an agency is running it, spent being interviewed rather than writing. Doing it yourself properly is closer to two or three hours a week, which is why most founders stop.
- Do I need a big following for LinkedIn to work?
- No. If your addressable market is a few hundred companies, a few hundred of the right followers is worth more than fifty thousand of the wrong ones. Early reach is small but disproportionately relevant.
- What should a founder post about?
- The things only you could write: a decision you got wrong, something your industry believes that you think is nonsense, a number from inside your business. Company updates are the weakest use of a founder account.
- Can an agency write as me without it sounding fake?
- Only if they interview you regularly. Content written from a brief rather than a conversation reads like it was, and on a founder account that is worse than not posting.
- How long before founder-led LinkedIn produces leads?
- Conversations usually start within weeks, because your existing network sees the early posts. Consistent inbound takes months, because it depends on repetition before someone acts.
- Should the founder or the company page post?
- The founder, primarily, with the company page carrying the credible version of the business for when someone checks you out afterwards. Choosing only the page is using the weaker surface.
- Is LinkedIn worth it for a very early-stage startup?
- Often more than paid channels, because it costs time rather than budget and it works at small scale. The constraint is whether you have something specific to say, not whether you have an audience yet.
