Key takeaways
- Published prices in this category run from roughly $2,950 to £15,000 a month. B2Linked publishes $3,000/month plus a $1,000 setup fee, Gripped £5,000-£15,000, Stop The Scroll from $2,950.
- Most agencies publish nothing. Of the agencies we reviewed, fewer than half disclose a figure before a call, which makes the category unusually hard to compare.
- Scope drives the number more than quality does. Content-only, outreach-only and full-channel are three different products often quoted as if they were one.
- Ads management is usually priced differently: a percentage of spend rather than a flat retainer, which changes what happens as your budget grows.
- The question that reveals most is what the agency refuses to do. A quote with no stated boundary is a quote that will be renegotiated later.
Published prices for LinkedIn agencies run from roughly $2,950 to £15,000 a month. That is a wide range, and most of the spread is scope rather than quality. Here is what is actually published, and what drives the number.
What agencies actually publish
Most do not publish anything. Of the agencies we reviewed for our shortlist, fewer than half disclose a figure before a call. The ones that do:
| Agency | Published price | What for |
|---|---|---|
| B2Linked | $3,000/mo + $1,000 setup | LinkedIn Ads management under $15k spend |
| B2Linked | 20%–6% of spend | Ads management over $15k monthly spend |
| B2Linked | $2,000 one-off | Standalone ads audit |
| Gripped | £5,000–£15,000/mo | Multi-channel B2B demand generation |
| Stop The Scroll | From $2,950/mo | Paid and organic LinkedIn |
Gripped adds a useful detail most agencies leave out: most of their clients invest £8,000 to £12,000 a month, which tells you more than the published floor does.
Whether an agency will tell you the number before a call is itself information. It does not mean the ones who hide it are expensive. It does mean the category is harder to compare than it should be, and that you will spend several calls establishing what should have taken one page.
What actually drives the number
Scope, which is usually the whole answer
Four different products get quoted as if they were one.
- Content only — writing and publishing, for the company page, named executives, or both
- Outreach only — list building, message writing, campaign management
- Ads only — campaign management against a media budget you also pay for
- The full channel — all three to one plan
A content-only retainer and a full-channel programme can differ by a factor of three, and both will be described as "LinkedIn marketing" on the proposal.
How many people you are putting in front
Content for one founder is a different job from content for six executives. Each additional person needs interviewing, their own voice establishing, and their own approval loop. This is the most common reason two quotes for apparently the same thing differ.
Original material versus scheduling
If you supply the ideas and the agency formats and posts them, that is a cheaper service and should be priced as one. If the agency is working out what you should be known for and producing the material, that is the expensive part and the part that moves commercial numbers.
The cost nobody quotes
Your people's time. Good LinkedIn content comes out of interviews with the people who know the subject, which means thirty to sixty minutes a month from each executive being written for. An agency that does not ask for that time is producing content from a brief, and it reads like it was.
Questions that make quotes comparable
Four, and they take about ten minutes on a call.
- What exactly is in scope, by service line? Content, outreach and ads, separately priced if possible.
- How many named people are you producing for? And what happens to the price when that changes.
- How much of my team's time do you need? If the answer is none, ask how they intend to find out anything only you know.
- What will you not do? The most revealing question in the set. An agency with no stated boundary is one that will renegotiate scope later.
What we charge
We do not publish a rate card, and it is fair to hold that against us on a page about pricing transparency.
The reason is that scope genuinely varies: a single founder's content programme and a full channel across six executives plus outreach are different enough that one number would mislead. What we will do is give you the number on the first call, before any proposal, along with a LinkedIn strategy conversation on whether we are the right shape for what you need.
If you are still working out what you need, what a LinkedIn marketing agency actually does covers the four types you will meet. If you know already, the shortlist compares them.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a LinkedIn marketing agency cost per month?
- Published figures range from about $2,950 to £15,000 a month. B2Linked publishes $3,000 a month plus a $1,000 setup fee for ads management, Gripped publishes £5,000 to £15,000 for a multi-channel programme, and Stop The Scroll starts at $2,950. Many agencies publish nothing at all.
- Why do most LinkedIn agencies hide their pricing?
- Usually because scope varies so widely that a single number would mislead, and sometimes because the price is set by what the buyer seems able to pay. Either way it makes comparison harder, which is why whether an agency publishes is worth treating as information in itself.
- What makes one LinkedIn agency more expensive than another?
- Mostly scope. Content-only, outreach-only, ads-only and full-channel are different products. After that, whether the agency writes original material or schedules what you supply, and how many named people they are producing content for.
- Is LinkedIn Ads management priced differently?
- Usually yes. Ads tends to be a percentage of spend or a flat fee plus setup, rather than a pure retainer. B2Linked publishes $3,000 a month under $15,000 of spend, moving to a sliding 20% to 6% of spend above that.
- What is a realistic budget to start with?
- If you want one channel run properly rather than several run thinly, plan for a retainer in the low thousands per month plus the time of whoever inside your business will be interviewed for content. The second cost is the one most companies forget.
- Should I pay for a LinkedIn audit before a retainer?
- You can, and B2Linked publishes a $2,000 ads audit. Several agencies including us will do an audit free, so it is worth asking before paying for one.
- How long should a LinkedIn agency contract be?
- Long enough to see your sales cycle through, which usually means six months minimum and often twelve. Gripped works on rolling contracts with three months notice; B2Linked requires three months for ads management.
